2021 Butterfield Bermuda Championship tee times, TV coverage, viewer’s guide

News

Now that everyone has made it to Bermuda, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship returns for the third edition this week at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton. Defending champ Brian Gay, delayed but not deterred, is seeking another victory on the island, but he will have to hold off a handful of major champions and former tour winners.

Past Masters champs Patrick Reed and Danny Willett are set to tee off this week, as is Matthew Fitzpatrick coming off of a Euro Tour victory at Valderrama. European Ryder Cup assistant captains Graeme McDowell and Luke Donald will also be in the field.

A year ago, Gay won his first tour event since 2012—making169 starts between victories—by shooting a closing 64 with a birdie on the 18th hole to force a playoff with Wyndham Clark. The then-48-year-old birdied the 18th again in sudden death for the victory.

The winner of this event will receive a $1.17 million share of the $6.5 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points.

Golf Channel will carry live coverage from 1:30-4:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, coverage will go from 1-4 p.m. EDT.

Outside the U.S., you can watch live Featured Groups, Featured Holes and main broadcast coverage on GOLFTV powered by the PGA TOUR. Click here to check local listings and availability.
