A star-studded field heads to Torrey Pines, San Diego this week for the Farmers Insurance Open. World No. 1 Jon Rahm will return to the stunning coastal course full of confidence after winning the event in 2017 and more recently claiming the 2021 U.S. Open at the same location this past July. Dustin Johnson will be making a long-awaited return to action this week, having not played on the PGA TOUR since The CJ Cup @ SUMMIT this past October. Reigning champion Patrick Reed will be hoping to repeat last year’s heroics, in which he took an unassailable lead after the first round and would eventually end up winning by five shots. Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and FedExCup standings leader Hideki Matsuyama complete an incredibly strong field that is sure to entertain the legions of fans who will be in attendance for the first time since 2020 due to COVID-19.
