The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which made its debut in 2019. The winner of last week’s 3M Open, Tony Finau, will be eager to continue his fantastic form, as will Rookie of the Year contender Cameron Young, who narrowly missed out on glory at both The Open and the PGA Championship this year, finishing in 2nd and T3 respectively. Similarly, Will Zalatoris will be hoping to taste victory for the first time on the PGA TOUR after runner-up finishes at the U.S. Open, PGA Championship and the Farmers Insurance Open in 2022. Other notable names teeing it up this week include Rickie Fowler, who needs to continue playing well if he’s going to make the FedExCup Playoffs, as he is currently 124th in the FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List, and Patrick Cantlay, who will make his first appearance at Detroit Golf Club as the highest-ranked player in the field.
