The DP World Tour returns to Spain for the acciona Open de España. 2021 saw home hero Rafa Cabrera Bello claim the title, nudging out fellow Spaniard Adri Arnaus in a nail biting play-off. In fact, the event has been a happy hunting ground for homegrown talent over recent years, with the past three victors residing in Spain, with Jon Rahm picking up the silverware in 2018 and 2019. The world no.6 is the highest ranked player teeing it up this week, and with a recent victory at the Mexico Open on the PGA TOUR and a second place finish at the BMW PGA Championship last month, Rahm will certainly be amongst the favourites. Other notable names to look out for include Tommy Fleetwood, Min Woo Lee and Oliver Wilson.
