The Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo 2023 returns to The Belfry this week as one of the DP World Tour’s longest-standing tournaments. Thorbjørn Olesen returns to defend his title after beating Sweden’s Sebastian Söderberg by one stroke to win his sixth DP World Tour title. He’ll be looking to continue his good form in the New Year after finishing tied 6th at the Hero Indian Open in February and solo third at the Soudal Open. Justin Rose will also be teeing it up in Sutton this week. He’ll be feeling confident after claiming his first PGA TOUR win in four years at Pebble Beach in February and managing top-20 finishes at the PGA Championship and the Masters. He’s also a previous victor if this tournament after claiming British Masters glory at Woburn in 2002. Min Woo Lee will also have high hopes for success this week. He finished tied 5th at the U.S Open and in the top-20 at the PGA Championship. Three-time DP World Tour winners Victor Perez and Adrian Meronk will be in the field this week alongside Hero Cup stars Robert MacIntyre, Ewen Ferguson and Richard Mansell.
