Watch Suzann Pettersen narrowly escape getting hit by a ball at the Solheim Cup

News

Team Europe’s captain Suzann Pettersen was watching her team play the Saturday afternoon fourball at Finca Cortesin and almost got hit by a ball. She and a spectator were perched on a rock when the ball came their way, but they were able to swiftly get out of the way.

That was some athletic work by Pettersen.

With three fourball matches still on the course, Team USA leads Team Europe 7-6. Pettersen is trying to lead her team to its third victory in a row, which would be the first time in history that the feat would be accomplished.
