Open Moments: The Final Round | Seve Ballesteros | 135th Open Championship

Videos
Arguably the best ever European golfer to ever play the sport, Seve Ballesteros played his last round at The Open in 2006 at the 135th Championship from Royal Liverpool Golf Club.

The three time Open Champion won the Claret Jug in 1979, 1984 and 1988 as well as two victories at the Masters, making him one of the most iconic and beloved players of all time.

The Spaniard was caddied by his eldest son Javier, who was 16 at the time, in what is now seen as a bittersweet moment for fans and players. This was the last time we’d see Seve play at The Open before his passing in 2011.

Here are the highlights of his final round at The Open Championship.
