There’s no denying the drama that Pete Dye’s Stadium course at TPC Sawgrass lends itself to each year at the Players Championship. In particular, the closing stretch of the par-5 16th (reachable in 2), par-3 17th (the famed island green) and par-4 18th (water left the whole way home) brings with it a level of excitement that, when combined with one of the deepest fields in golf, makes the event must-see viewing for golf fans.
Golf fans will get to see it all on Monday as the end of the third round and the final round play out. Golf Channel will provide the traditional TV broadcast options, with coverage simultaneously streaming on Peacock. Play-by-play announcer Dan Hicks and lead producer Tommy Roy will both be working their 30th Players Championship for NBC.
In addition to TV coverage, ESPN+ will carry PGA Tour Live’s streaming coverage from sunrise to sunset with multiple feeds offering more than 160 hours of golf. Up to 21 feeds will help cover every shot of every group on every hole during each morning of the tournament, in addition to a Main Feed and Featured Groups, Featured Holes and Marquee Group streams each day. And throughout all four days of the tournament, fans watching on PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will be able to witness every shot played on the par-3 No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass. Featured Holes coverage will also showcase the par-3 No. 3, the drivable par-4 12th, and the par-5 16th.
